Our analysis of her uploads shows how much Minecraft is in her current videos:

Who is AwesomeElina? Career & milestones

Elina launched her YouTube channel in May 2013, making her one of the pioneers of the German Minecraft scene. What sets her apart: her authentic personality, her consistent output and her ability to talk with her community as equals.

The beginnings (2013–2015)

Her first videos were classic Minecraft Let’s Plays, in which she explored her world, built and went on adventures.

What set her apart from the start: her likeable personality, her humor and her ability to explain even complicated topics in an understandable way. Thanks to her consistent uploads and her passion for Minecraft, her community grew steadily.

Growth and first collaborations (2016–2019)

Over time, AwesomeElina began working with other German Minecraft YouTubers. Her collaboration with Benx (DoctorBenx) in particular became a trademark of her channel. The two complement each other perfectly: Benx with his dry humor and Elina with her positive energy.

Her videos reached more and more people, and she established herself as one of the leading female Minecraft YouTubers in Germany. In a male-dominated gaming scene, that is a remarkable achievement.

Becoming an established name (2020–2022)

AwesomeElina diversified her content: alongside Minecraft came Among Us, Roblox and other games. She expanded her presence on Twitch and TikTok.

A special highlight: in 2020 she made a young fan named Leo’s dearest wish come true as part of the German charity Wünsch Dir Was e.V. Leo was a big fan of AwesomeElina and dreamed of meeting her one day. Despite the difficult COVID period, Elina visited Leo at home, spent the day with him, played Minecraft and chatted. This heartfelt gesture shows how much her community means to her.

Big projects and Craft Attack (2023–2026)

In 2023, Minecraft Freunde started, one of her most important projects. With Benx, Logo and other creators she created a lively Minecraft world that fans love.

The invitation to Craft Attack 12 was a major milestone – she has been part of every season since, currently season 14. Her consistency over more than 13 years is remarkable: to this day, a new video comes out almost every day.

Known projects & series

Minecraft Freunde

AwesomeElina’s best-known project is “Minecraft Freunde” (German for “Minecraft Friends”), which she runs together with Benx, Logo, notGambo, Chaosflo44, IsyCheesy, Fabo, Ebru and other German gaming creators. The project started on January 29, 2023 and is a shared Minecraft world in which the group builds together, goes on adventures and tackles challenges.

What makes Minecraft Freunde special: it is a modpack-based project with hundreds of mods that expand the game. From new animals and monsters to extended building options and morph mods (transforming into mobs) – the world offers endless possibilities. Fans can even download the modpack themselves from CurseForge and play along.

Minecraft Freunde 2 started as a sequel and expanded the concept even further. The community loves the dynamic between the creators.

Craft Attack 12, 13 & 14

Craft Attack is one of the biggest and most prestigious Minecraft projects in Germany, and only invited creators can take part. AwesomeElina was part of Craft Attack 12 (start: October 26, 2024) and Craft Attack 13 (start: October 25, 2025), and she is on the official participant list of Craft Attack 14 (start: October 10, 2026).

In Craft Attack 12 she formed the team “Heimer” together with Benx, LOGO and notGambo. The four built impressive projects together and interacted with other big German YouTubers like Paluten, Zombey, BastiGHG, Papaplatte and many more.

Craft Attack is a vanilla Minecraft project (without mods) with just one single rule: “Don’t be a jerk!” The freedom and creativity of the participants are what make the project so special.

Die Drei Rabauken – the podcast

Alongside her gaming videos, AwesomeElina runs the podcast “Die Drei Rabauken” (roughly “The Three Rascals”) together with Benx and Ebru. In the first episode (March 10, 2023) the three told how they met, talked about their shared past with Pokémon tournaments and Minecraft challenges, and gave a behind-the-scenes look at their YouTube careers.

The podcast gives fans the chance to get to know the three creators from a completely different side – personal, authentic and full of funny anecdotes.

Music: “STEH AUF”

On September 18, 2026, AwesomeElina released her own German-language song, “STEH AUF” (“Get Up”). She promotes it on her YouTube channel, and it is available on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music.

Other formats and content

• Minecraft solo projects: her own worlds, building projects and survival challenges
• Among Us: she regularly plays the popular social deduction game with her gaming friends
• Roblox: various Roblox games and challenges
• Challenges: from “try not to laugh” to creative gaming challenges
• Reaction videos: often together with Benx and other creators, mostly on her second channel “Elinski”
• Horror games: every now and then she braves a scary game

AwesomeElina’s gaming setup

Lists of AwesomeElina’s microphone and mouse circulate online – but we couldn’t find any statement from her about them, either in her video descriptions or on Twitch. Even the description of her video “MEIN NEUER GAMING PC” (“My new gaming PC”, May 2024) doesn’t name any parts. That’s why we deliberately don’t list any devices here.

Merch

Official AwesomeElina merch is available at awesomeelina.shop (as linked in her video descriptions); on Twitch she also links her collection in Benx’s shop. If you’re buying something for your child: pick it out together and agree on a budget beforehand.

Private life

Elina says very little about her private life – and rightly so. She doesn’t give her place of residence or her surname on her profiles. She shared a little more about herself in May 2025 on “Henke’s Corner”, a German talk show by the public youth network funk: among other things, how she switches between her private self and her family-friendly persona on YouTube.

Income & net worth

How much AwesomeElina earns isn’t public – there are no reliable figures. Online estimates simply extrapolate view counts and are correspondingly inaccurate. What is clear is where her income comes from:

• YouTube ads and channel memberships: almost daily uploads on her main channel bring in ongoing ad revenue; fans can also become channel members
• Twitch: subscriptions, donations and ads during livestreams
• Sponsorships: partners that are labeled as advertising in her video descriptions and Twitch panels
• Merch and music: her own shop plus streams and sales of her song

Is AwesomeElina kid-friendly?

AwesomeElina’s content is generally very kid-friendly and suitable for young gamers – as long as they understand German:

Suitable for kids ✓

• Minecraft content: creative, educational and completely kid-friendly
• Positive energy: Elina is known for her friendly and encouraging manner
• No crude language: humor without coarse expressions
• Role model: as a successful gamer, she is a role model for girls and boys
• Community focus: respectful treatment of her viewers

Limitations

• Horror games: she occasionally plays scary games – less suitable for sensitive children
• Among Us: the game is based on deception and “killing” – harmless, but perhaps not ideal yet for very young children (under 8)
• Livestreams: during Craft Attack she streams live on Twitch – with an open chat that parents should keep an eye on

Recommendation for parents: the content is well suited from around age 8. For children aged 6 and up, the Minecraft videos are no problem. With younger children (under 6), it can make sense for a parent to watch along.

Does AwesomeElina swear? Hardly ever. Her humor works without crude language, which is one reason many parents are happy to let their kids watch her.
