What Is Craft Attack? A Complete Guide to Every Season (1–14)
If you’re looking for a clear explanation and wondering, “What is Craft Attack, exactly?” – you’re in the right place. This guide explains Craft Attack from its beginnings in February 2014 through Craft Attack 13 to the new season, Craft Attack 14, which started on October 10, 2026. You’ll also find information on rules, participants, maps and tech. Good to know: Craft Attack is a German project, so all the creators and videos mentioned here are in German.
Craft Attack explained: what is it, actually?
Craft Attack is a shared Minecraft survival project in which many German-speaking YouTubers and streamers play together on one server. The creators build their own bases, start big community projects, host events and tell an ongoing story over many months – all in one world. The game is vanilla survival, meaning regular Minecraft without big modpacks. A season usually runs for about a year; then the next one starts with a fresh world.
Viewers love it because you can experience the same world from dozens of perspectives: every base, every prank and every event shows up in different streams and videos – from calm building projects to chaotic fights.
Every season at a glance
The data comes mainly from the unofficial fan site craft-attack.info, which documents the start, end, participants and version of every season. The site itself gives the participant counts as approximate figures.

| Craft Attack 13 | Oct 25, 2025 | October 2026 | over 100 | 1.21.8 |
| Craft Attack 14 | Oct 10, 2026 | ongoing | 115 (as of Oct 13, 2026) | not officially announced yet |
You can clearly see how the project has grown: from around 20 creators in the early years to more than 100 since season 13.
Founders & organizers: who started Craft Attack?
There is no official list of founders, but the fan documentation paints a clear picture: the first season in 2014 was started by a group of Minecraft creators who were already well known at the time – BrokenThumbs, earliboy, JaybeeMangror, Kunga, rewinside, Rotpilz and Zander. Some sources shorten this to “founded by rewinside,” but what they mean is this founding team.
Important: from the very beginning, Craft Attack was a project run by the creators themselves, not a show from a TV channel or a company. Today, SparkofPhoenix and earliboy organize the seasons. Homie20006, whom craft-attack.info has listed as server admin since season 8, handles the server tech. The official website craftattack.one is built by chd_. Since season 9, Craft Attack no longer runs on a rented server but on a server the team bought itself.
Youngest & oldest participants: how wide is the age range?
There is no official list of all participants’ birth dates – many creators don’t make their exact age public. So nobody can reliably say who the youngest or oldest Craft Attack participant of all time is.
What you can tell:
- Most creators were somewhere between their late teens and mid-30s when they joined.
- Since the bigger seasons (from Craft Attack 11 on), the age range has become much wider.
- A prominent example of an older participant is German TV presenter and streamer Max Schradin (SCHRADIN), born in 1978 according to Wikipedia. He has been part of Craft Attack since season 12 and is playing in season 14 too.
Can I join Craft Attack? Applications & invitations
The short answer: No, there is no public application process for the YouTuber project Craft Attack. The server is for invited creators only.
Here’s how participation basically works:
- Craft Attack is a private project run by the creators, not a public server.
- New participants are suggested by existing ones, followed by an internal vote. How seriously this is taken became clear at the start of season 13: LetsHugo had shown results of this vote ahead of time and was banned from the server for one day.
- In practice, you almost always need your own active Twitch or YouTube channel.
Realistic ways to maybe get in one day:
- Build your own channel (Twitch, YouTube or both).
- Be active in the German-speaking Minecraft scene: your own projects, collaborations, events.
- Stay connected: many participants have known each other for years from other projects.
Some German server networks such as TheScape offer Craft Attack–style servers you can apply for. These community projects, however, have no connection to the “real” creator project.
Who are the Craft Attack regulars?
According to the participant lists on craft-attack.info and craftattack.one, these creators are among the regulars with an especially large number of seasons:
- earliboy, Clym, rewinside and Zander – part of all 14 seasons.
- Gamerstime (GTime) – every season from 2 to 14.
- baastiZockt – every season since season 3.
- Debitor – seasons 1–4 and 6–14.
- GommeHD (seasons 4–9 and 11–14) and Halbzwilling – both in almost every season since season 4.
- Plus long-time faces such as Balui, Dner, CastCrafter, Petrit, Rotpilz, Zinus, Ryole and skate702.
Basic rules of Craft Attack
A complete list of rules isn’t published. But from what the creators say and what you can see in the streams, a clear picture emerges:
- Respect: no bullying, no personal attacks – especially since almost everything is streamed live.
- No griefing without agreement: destroying other people’s builds is off-limits, except during agreed-upon events or pranks.
- No cheats: no hacked clients or duping glitches. Client-side quality-of-life mods such as minimaps, performance mods or ReplayMod are common.
- Vanilla feel: plugins that change the game aren’t used. There are still small extras, such as the voice mod added in season 10 or the “/trigger sit” command in season 12.
- Confidentiality: the server address and internal matters such as the invitation votes stay private.
- Play actively: if you’re in, you’re expected to stream or upload videos about it regularly. Fixed quotas aren’t public.
Important for parents: even when things get loud and chaotic, there are clear boundaries and strong social control from the many adult creators.
Tip for parents: the best way for kids to watch Craft Attack
- Twitch streams are uncut, often hours long and come with an open chat. Twitch’s terms of service require users to be at least 13.
- YouTube episodes are edited and shorter. They’re the better choice for younger kids, for example from family-friendly creators such as Paluten, AwesomeElina, Chaosflo44 or Benx – all in German.
- Start together: watch the first episodes together and talk about which creators your child likes.
- You’ll find more background in our honest guide for worried parents.
