Since Craft Attack 14 started on October 10, 2026, Rewinside has been streaming Minecraft on Twitch almost every day. On YouTube, he mostly posts vlogs and challenges with friends – in 2026, for example, trips with CastCrafter to Peru and the Amazon, or a DJ set with Papaplatte in front of around 20,000 people. He also works as an actor now: in the German TV series “Frühling” on ZDF, he played the role of Alfie Schneider in 2025 and 2026. How much Minecraft is in his current videos is shown by our analysis of his uploads:

Who is Rewinside? Career and development

Early years and a double life: Sebastian Meyer grew up in Weilerswist near Cologne and finished secondary school with an intermediate school-leaving certificate (Mittlere Reife). While training as a real estate agent, he secretly started uploading YouTube videos – he wasn’t allowed to have a side income. He kept up this “double life” for years until, after completing his training, he devoted himself full-time to his channel.

TwoRewinds (2011–2013): Together with TZimon and Clym, Rewinside ran the channel TwoRewinds, which featured Minecraft videos exclusively. He was inspired in 2012 by a video from Gronkh. The channel is inactive today.

Rewinside main channel (from 2013): On July 5, 2013, he launched his solo channel Rewinside. The channel grew quickly thanks to Minecraft projects and collaborations. His loud, emotional reactions became his trademark – the “Schreihals von YouTube” (roughly “YouTube’s loudmouth”) was born.

The Fortnite era: Rewinside made the most of the Fortnite hype and massively grew his Twitch audience as a result. His high-energy streams drew thousands of viewers.

Content shift: Rewinside has changed a lot in recent years. Instead of loud gaming videos, he now mainly produces vlogs, hide-and-seek videos and challenges with other influencers such as Julia Beautx, LetsHugo and Joey’s Jungle. Stream highlights go on his second channel Rewigang, Let’s Plays on his third channel REWI GAMING.

Network changes: Rewinside was first with Divimove, switched to TubeOne in 2015 and finally to Studio71 in 2016.

Film and TV: Beyond YouTube, Rewinside also appears in series and films – from “Krass Klassenfahrt” (2019–2020) and “Die Allerjutsten” (2023) to its follow-up “Rinos” (since 2024, with Marc Eggers, UnsympathischTV, Tim Gabel and Inscope21) and the ZDF series “Frühling” (2025 and 2026).

Social commitment: Once a year, Rewinside hosts a 24-hour charity stream, and the donations go to a non-profit project in Africa. The stream is usually supported by well-known companies, too.

Well-known projects & series

Craft Attack: the best-known German Minecraft project

What is Craft Attack? Craft Attack is a vanilla Minecraft project that Rewinside founded in 2014 together with earliboy, BrokenThumbs and Zander. Lots of YouTubers and streamers meet on a shared server to play, build and get creative together over weeks and months. There is no fixed game goal – just the rule: “Sei kein Arsch!” (“Don’t be a jerk!”).

Format and special features: Each season officially runs for one year, although most participants drop out after a few weeks or months. PvP is allowed, but targeted attacks on bases are often forbidden. At the end of each season, the map is made available for download. Craft Attack regularly dominates the German YouTube and Twitch charts.

Who’s who of participants: The biggest German gaming creators take part in Craft Attack: Paluten, GommeHD, SparkofPhoenix, Trymacs, HandOfBlood, Papaplatte, Stegi, BastiGHG, MontanaBlack and many more. The project brings together YouTubers who otherwise have little to do with each other.

Community servers: Alongside the official seasons, there are regularly community Craft Attack servers where fans can recreate the project themselves. These are usually announced on Rewinside’s Discord.

Seasons: Craft Attack 13 ran from October 25, 2025 to October 2026 with around 100 participants; Craft Attack 14 started on October 10, 2026, with 115 creators according to craftattack.one. Rewinside has been part of it since Season 1. The streams can be watched on the individual participants’ channels.

For parents: Craft Attack is family-friendly overall. There are no prescribed storylines or problematic content. Since every participant has their own stream, the tone varies from creator to creator. Rewinside himself is usually creative and cooperative in Craft Attack.

Voice actor in the Minecraft movie

In March 2025, Rewinside announced that he would take on a voice role in the official Minecraft movie – a special milestone that underlines his close ties to the Minecraft community. He voices the piglin General Chungus in the German dub.

Music career as a DJ

As the DJ duo notsocool, Rewinside produces electronic music together with Michael Moritz (MPIRE) and plays in clubs and at events. Tracks like “King Of My Castle” and “Stories On The Road” are on the streaming platforms. Under the aliases “RaveInside” and “REWI”, he releases more music, including a 2023 drum ‘n’ bass remake of Nena’s “99 Luftballons”; he has already played at the Parookaville festival. In 2020, he also founded the music label “space music records”.

Minecraft server rewinside.tv (2016–2021)

From late 2016 to March 31, 2021, Rewinside ran his own Minecraft multiplayer network at rewinside.tv through his company Volix UG. There he recorded Let’s Plays and played minigames like Bedwars and Survival Games with his community. The server has been offline since 2021 – if you want to play with other Rewi fans today, community servers are usually announced on his Discord.

Rewinside’s gaming setup

Rewinside names his microphone himself: in his video descriptions and in a Twitch panel, he writes that he uses a Shure SM7dB in his streaming setup – marked as an ad for his partner Shure. There’s no information from him about his mouse, keyboard, headset or PC.

Merch & fan gear

Rewinside stands for Minecraft, Craft Attack and creative gaming vibes. You can find the official merch shop here: https://rewinsidemerch.com/. It mainly offers clothing and accessories in the typical Rewi design. Music fans can find his tracks on Spotify and other streaming platforms.

Friends, crew & collabs

YouTube house legend: From 2014 to 2016, Rewinside lived in the legendary “YouTube house” together with Paluten, Dner, Ungespielt, Taddl and his then-girlfriend Jodie Calussi. This period shaped the first big wave of YouTubers in Germany and produced unforgettable collaborations.

The CREADERS: Since October 2016, Rewinside has shared the “UFO” (“Ultra Fettes Office”, roughly “Ultra Fat Office”) in Cologne with Paluten, Sturmwaffel, Izzi and Dner. The five call themselves the CREADERS and run a joint YouTube channel.

Current collabs: In vlogs and challenges, Rewinside regularly appears with Julia Beautx, LetsHugo, Joey’s Jungle and RoseMondy. In 2026 he traveled to Peru and the Amazon with CastCrafter, and in summer 2026 he shared the DJ booth with Papaplatte. On REWI GAMING, Let’s Plays come out with MontanaBlack, Papaplatte, Max Schradin and Paluten, among others.

Craft Attack: As a co-founder, Rewinside is connected with almost every big German Minecraft creator – see above.

Private life

Sebastian Meyer grew up in Weilerswist in the Euskirchen district and trained as a real estate agent. From late 2014 to December 2019, he was in a relationship with the YouTuber Jodie Calussi. Beyond that, we deliberately don’t share private details.

Income & net worth

How much Rewinside earns isn’t public – there are no reliable figures. Estimates from stats websites aren’t a solid source. His income streams, however, are easy to see:

• YouTube ads on three channels (Rewinside, Rewigang, REWI GAMING)
• Twitch: subscriptions and donations in his livestreams
• Sponsors: he labels partnerships in his video descriptions – in 2026, for example, with Samsung and Shure
• Music: DJ gigs, streaming revenue and his label “space music records”
• Film and TV: roles in series such as “Rinos” and “Frühling” and the voice role in the Minecraft movie

Is Rewinside kid-friendly?

• Age: Suitable from around age 12. His videos used to be very loud and hectic; today the content is much calmer and more reflective.
• Does Rewinside swear? Sometimes. In the past he used vulgar language and insults (mostly meant ironically); today he’s more moderate. Older videos may contain problematic statements – watching older content together is recommended.
• Content development: Rewinside has grown a lot. Where he used to be known for emotional outbursts and loud gaming, he now takes a much more relaxed approach to content.
• Gaming focus: Mainly Minecraft (age-appropriate). Older videos and REWI GAMING also include games like GTA 5 (USK 18 in Germany; PEGI 18, ESRB M) and Fortnite (USK 12 in Germany; PEGI 12, ESRB T) – parents should take a close look here.
• Advertising: Sponsors show up in many videos and descriptions, along with his merch shop. Talk about spending habits early on.
• Social commitment: The yearly 24-hour charity streams are a good opportunity to talk with your kids about donations and aid organizations.
• Role model: Rewinside turned his passion into a successful career – despite his early “double life”. A good starting point for talking about career dreams, perseverance and personal growth.

Getting started: what to watch first?

• YouTube main channel: Current vlogs and challenges with other YouTubers – this is where you see the “new” Rewinside.
• Craft Attack: The Minecraft series is perfect for newcomers. Creative, team-oriented, family-friendly. Just search Twitch or YouTube for “Craft Attack Rewinside”.
• Twitch streams: Livestreams offer authentic insights – almost daily during Craft Attack, otherwise usually about once a week.
• Rewigang (second channel): Stream highlights – good for newcomers who don’t want to watch full streams right away.
• Music: If you’re interested in his DJ side, you’ll find notsocool on Spotify and other streaming platforms.

Rewinside’s reach compared (German gaming creators)

Bottom line: Rewinside’s strength lies in the balance between YouTube and Twitch – he’s one of the big German gaming creators on both platforms. Add music, film and TV, and few German creators are as versatile. More on the creators in the comparison: StandartSkill, Trymacs and HandOfBlood.

Conclusion: Rewinside – from Minecraft pioneer to all-rounder

Rewinside is much more than just a gaming YouTuber – he’s a Minecraft pioneer, Craft Attack co-founder, DJ, label owner, actor and voice actor in the Minecraft movie. His career of more than 13 years shows impressive development: from “loudmouth” to reflective creator, from secret hobby to successful all-rounder. With Craft Attack, he created a project that has had a lasting impact on the German Minecraft community.
