Craft Attack 13 week 3 recap and summary

The third week of Craft Attack 13 is behind us – and by now you can tell in every corner of the project that it has “really settled in.” Craft Attack is a German Minecraft project: after the big launch at the end of October, more than 100 German-speaking YouTubers and streamers are building, farming, trolling and roleplaying together on a shared survival server. The focus is now shifting further and further away from the starting phase toward expanded bases, complex farms and the first big story arcs.

This article sums up the third week (roughly November 8–14, 2025) by topic: Which projects moved forward, how is the economy developing, which events and memes got the community talking – and what does it all mean for the weeks ahead? One of our sources is the “Complete Week 3 Summary” by Urutox (in German), which briefly places every participant in context; we build on that overview here with additional analysis and background.

Out of the starting phase: The world feels “lived in”

In week 3 it is very clear that the very early server phase is over. Most starter bases are no longer just makeshift holes in a mountain or tiny huts, but recognizable houses, towers or first large-scale projects. Paths connect more and more bases, portals get pretty frames, and central meeting points are popping up in many places – whether a marketplace, a town project or a shared farm hub.

The infrastructure in the background is maturing too: Many players are putting a lot of time into classic “backbone” projects such as iron, villager, creeper or gold farms. You can feel that across the server: Rockets, enchantments and valuable blocks are much easier to come by than in week 1. At the same time, these farms raise the pressure on everyone who isn’t that far along yet – a typical effect in every Craft Attack season.

What’s exciting is that the world still doesn’t feel “played out.” Some players already have elytra, Nether gear and End gear, but far from all of them. That creates some nice tension: While some are already working on mega builds with perfectly enchanted tools, others are still fighting the classic early-game struggle and improvising.

Big projects take shape

A central theme of the third week is the large, long-term building projects. Many creators had already teased their ideas in weeks 1 and 2 – in week 3 you can now see these visions becoming concrete:

  • Towns and districts: Several groups are now forming clearly recognizable “town centers” or themed districts (fantasy town, modern city, medieval village, etc.). Streets, plazas and the first decorations give these areas their own character.
  • Large bases & mega builds: The first bases are growing upward (towers, castle complexes) or downward (underground cave cities, futuristic bunkers). These are often projects that will run for many weeks and are only now getting their visible kick-off.
  • Community projects: Alongside individual bases, central building projects are appearing, such as Nether hubs, shared farms or public buildings (town hall, arena, event hall). These community projects are often the focal point for spontaneous encounters on stream.

All in all, week 3 is the phase in which many sketches and plans from the first days turn into “real” Minecraft building for the first time. Viewers are getting a better feel for what the world might look like later on.

Shopping, trading, haggling: The economy picks up

With more resources and better farms, the server economy is gaining momentum as well. The first shopping areas that appeared in week 2 are being expanded further in week 3: New shops are opening, empty plots are being built on, and the first price ranges for important items are emerging (rockets, books, tools, Netherite, decorative blocks).

The different approaches the participants take are fascinating:

  • Some shops focus on design & branding: eye-catching buildings, their own logo, a clear color palette – perfect for screenshots and thumbnail moments.
  • Others concentrate almost entirely on efficiency & price – unremarkable stalls, but extremely cheap offers or large quantities.
  • Here and there, niche shops are already appearing that sell special blocks, redstone components or even services (e.g. terraforming, interior design, redstone help).

In week 3 you also start to feel trade conflicts and competition more strongly: Who sells rockets the cheapest? Who has the best selection of enchantments? And who responds to new shops with price changes or special offers? For the coming weeks, one thing is clear: The economy is turning into a meta-game of its own within the project.

Events, roleplay and story arcs

Besides building and farming, what stands out most in week 3 are the first bigger story arcs and events. Craft Attack has always thrived on the fact that people don’t just “build in silence” – buildings, characters and gimmicks turn into real stories, and that is exactly what is really getting going now.

Typical elements you can see in many streams this week:

  • Server-wide quests & hunts: Whether it’s an egg hunt, an item hunt or mini challenges – hidden chests, clues and rewards make players travel all over the map and run into each other on stream.
  • Press conferences and meetings: Some groups use voice chats and central squares to act out “official” announcements, deals or alliances – often half serious, half comedy.
  • Character roles: Some creators have by now developed clearly recognizable roles (mayor, villain, troublemaker, master builder, trader…), which makes interactions more predictable – and often even funnier for viewers.

This mix of planned roleplay and spontaneous chaos is one of the reasons why Craft Attack 13 is still getting a lot of attention on Twitch and YouTube in week 3 – including coverage on news sites and social media.

Pranks, conflicts and “friendly drama”

There’s no Craft Attack without trolling. In week 3, the trolling is increasingly shifting from small stuff (moving a few blocks, harmless mini traps) toward more elaborate stunts that are usually annoying, but rarely meant to be truly destructive. (The following video is in German.)

Playing the video connects to YouTube (Google). More in our privacy policy.

  • Elaborately built pranks: Huge figures in front of someone else’s base, carpet or pumpkin spam, or redesigning a base around a particular theme (e.g. “everything pink”).
  • Redstone jokes: Hidden sound circuits, subtle mob traps or harmless TNT gimmicks (usually designed so that nothing valuable gets destroyed).
  • Running gags & memes: Inside jokes, specific items or places that keep coming up in several streams and become community memes as a result.

Important: Even if people sometimes talk about “conflicts” from the outside, the whole thing generally remains friendly drama. Most creators clearly agree behind the scenes or in the stream chat on what’s okay and where the limits are. That keeps the entertainment value high without real disputes escalating.

Tech, server performance & moderation

The more big farms, redstone machines and players are active at the same time, the more critical the technical side becomes. So in week 3, a lot also revolves around optimization: How many mobs are allowed in farms? Which chunks should be relieved? And how do you deal with lag when lots of streamers are online at once?

The operators and the organizing team respond by communicating guidelines and tweaking performance behind the scenes. Running Craft Attack 13 at this scale at all, with so many streams happening in parallel, is anything but trivial from a technical standpoint – which is why clear rules and occasional adjustments matter so much.

Then there’s moderation on the server and platform side: Back in the second week, for example, there were temporary bans through Mojang’s reporting system, which fan sites also reported on – a reminder that even a community project of this size is bound by the rules of Minecraft and the streaming platforms. In week 3 this topic is less in the spotlight, but it still lingers in the background and affects how careful some creators are with sensitive topics.

How the participants differ from one another

The Urutox summary of week 3 shows really nicely how differently the participants approach the project: While some stream or upload videos almost every day and put up entire city districts within a few days, others take things much more slowly, jump back and forth between projects or focus more on roleplay than on efficient farming.

Playing the video connects to YouTube (Google). More in our privacy policy.

For viewers, that’s a big advantage:

  • If you want to see technical progress and mega farms, you’ll find creators who squeeze everything out of the server in near “no-life mode” (gamer slang for playing practically nonstop).
  • If you prefer story, comedy and chaos, you’re more likely to drop by the roleplay-heavy streams.
  • If you’re looking for architecturally inspiring builds, you’ll find yet others who do almost nothing but build and polish decorations.

In week 3 these profiles become clearer – and you can see the first viewer routines settling in: Many people have “their” regular creators, but deliberately switch to other channels for individual events, because the perspectives complement each other.

Community reactions and outside perception

Outside the streams, too, Craft Attack 13 remains a big topic. Fan sites such as craft-attack.info collect information and streams, offer overviews of participants, projects and news, and so help viewers who can’t be there live all the time keep track of everything.

At the same time, gaming and entertainment sites report on the project, its participants and special moments – from headline-grabbing encounters between big YouTube legends to quirky stunts that become social media memes. As a result, Craft Attack 13 no longer feels like just a “normal Minecraft project,” but more like a recurring online event that leaves its own cultural footprint every year.

Outlook for week 4 and beyond

After the third week, Craft Attack 13 stands on a solid foundation: The world has visibly grown, many bases have a clear identity, the economy works, and the first storylines are underway. At the same time, there’s still plenty of room to grow – both technically (mega farms, big redstone projects) and creatively (RP events, server-wide projects, tournaments and minigames).

For the fourth week and beyond, you can expect that:

  • more mega projects will visibly move toward completion,
  • the economy will become more complex (cooperations, shared shops, special currencies),
  • bigger server-wide events will take place with many participants involved at the same time,
  • and existing memes and conflicts will be played out further or resolved.

If you’re following Craft Attack 13, now is a good time to find “your” perspectives: Whether you’d rather follow a few creators and catch everything, or keep the big picture through summaries like Urutox’s weekly recaps and fan sites – week 3 makes it very clear that a lot more is going to happen on this server.
