What is Arazhul doing right now?

No new video has appeared on his main channel since December 8, 2025; his last Shorts date from November 2025, and Arazhulino had already gone quiet before that. Most recently he mainly played simulators and VR games such as “I Am Monkey”. We couldn’t find any public explanation for the break. His company Arazhul Studios keeps running: it designs merch, plush toys and building-block sets, and its “Yourplush” project lets the community vote on new plush toys. Our analysis shows what has happened on the channel in the last 90 days:

Who is Arazhul? From griefing to family-friendly content creator

Roman Fink, better known as Arazhul, started his YouTube career on July 23, 2012. The name “Arazhul” comes from his World of Warcraft username. In his early years he first made a name for himself in the griefing scene (griefing means deliberately wrecking other players’ builds) – a chapter he has consciously left behind.

His big strength is producing elaborate, kid-friendly Minecraft content. As he puts it himself in his channel description: “Sometimes I spend up to 6 hours on a video that’s 15 minutes long.” This attention to detail and his family-friendly approach set him apart from many other gaming creators.

One milestone of his career was reaching one million subscribers on May 28, 2017. Today his main channel has more than 3.6 billion video views.

Awards and milestones

2017: Reached one million YouTube subscribers (May 28, 2017)
2018: No. 6 among the most relevant German YouTubers (study by the German press agency dpa)
2019: Nominated for the Goldene Kamera Digital Award (a German media award) in the category “Best of Let’s Play & Gaming”
2019: Bestselling author with his first Arazhul book

Why is Arazhul so successful?

Kid-friendly, family-friendly content: Arazhul deliberately speaks to a very young audience and makes sure his content is suitable for children. Parents appreciate this reliable quality.
Production quality: With up to 6 hours of work for a 15-minute video, Arazhul invests far more time than many of his competitors.
Consistency and reliability: For years, daily uploads at exactly 1:00 p.m. created a routine for the community.
Authenticity and staying grounded: His charity work (the school in Malawi) shows that he’s not just in it for the views and the money.

He built a school in Malawi funded entirely by merch sales, giving more than 200 children access to education. Arazhul Studios names Blantyre as its location. This project is a powerful example of how influencers can use their reach to bring about positive change.
